About

Welcome to the Therapy Place Blog – a set of my writings in different styles focused on and about issues around counselling, psychotherapy and couples therapy.

I’m have more than 20 years’ experience in the therapy world and I am a BACP accredited and registered counsellor/psychotherapist. I offer a relaxed, comfortable and informal space in central Bristol, BS1, where people can come and talk in confidence about any troubling issues they have. I also work online via videochat platforms such as FaceTime and Zoom. I supervise counsellors, psychotherapists and other mental health professionals.

As an author, I wrote a very candid book, Turned On: Intimacy in a pornized society (THE WiTTING PRESS) which was published in 2010. I have also written articles and contributed to magazines as diverse as Therapy Today and Glamour, and consulted for broadcast media production companies working for Channel 4 and BBC 3 among others, making contributions to programmes like Channel 4’s Porn on the Brain.

You can visit my therapy website – Therapy Place Bristol – where you can contact me or find further information about the therapies I provide for women, men and couples.
